Elafonissi is a unique beach with exotic crystal clear waters. It is a protected nature reserve, located on the southwestern side of Crete and is among the most famous beaches with soft white and pink sand and with cedar trees reaching the coastline. Elafonissi means the island of the deer and is a magical place that you should not miss during your trip in Crete. 

On the southern side of the prefecture of Rethymno is a place of great natural beauty, Preveli. This beach is actually where a river flows into the sea, passing through many palm trees and forming a lake close to the sea. There are water sports in this lake to explore the river, while the sandy and unorganized beach of Preveli is a wonderful place to swim.

Vai is one of the most popular attractions in eastern Crete, yet one of the most beautiful and special places in the entire Mediterranean. The special thing about this beach is that it is surrounded by the largest palm tree forest in Europe consisting of 5,000 trees.  It attracts thousands of visitors every year not only for the beautiful palm and crystal water, but also the long sandy beach that stretches in front.

Triopetra beach is also near Akoumia village and the route lasts 40 minutes beginning from Rethymno. It is named after three stones (Trio-petra) that emerge from the sea in front of the beach. Like Akoumia beach, it is familiar destination mainly for local inhabitants. It?s a magnificent beach well-known for the gorgeous sunset that one should wait for and see.

The famous Mpalos beach is located at the northern side of Gramvousa Peninsula, just 56 kilometers away from Chania. Only pictures can illustrate the beauty of this place. Mpalos is a quiet beach, opposite the two islands (Wild and Tame), with warm, turquoise waters and white sand. The whole area has been under the Natura protected areas.  Rare flora and fauna species are hosted in that magical place.
